EMU Chapel announcement

At Ebed-Melech University, chapel is not just a gathering—it is a sacred rhythm of spiritual life, community, and encouragement. Whether you’re a student, faculty member, or global guest, EMU Chapel offers a space for reflection, worship, and connection with God and one another.

Transformative Encounters. Kingdom Conversations.

Each chapel session is hosted via our official EMU Chapel Discord Channel and features inspiring teachings, scripture-based messages, real testimonies, and moments of prayer. Designed to accommodate our global community, all sessions are freely available live or as recordings for your convenience.

Chapel Leadership

Rev. Dr. Kahla D. LaPlante, PhD

Senior Chaplain & Director of Enrollment
A U.S. Army veteran, author, and transformational leader, Rev. Dr. LaPlante brings a ministry of healing and hope to the EMU community. Her personal journey—rising from homelessness and loss to academic excellence and public health leadership—embodies EMU’s mission: “We rise by lifting others.”

Dr. LaPlante is the founder of Blessed R Thee Ministry, where she supports women veterans facing housing insecurity. Her EMU-developed initiative, The P.E.A.C.E. Path, leads others in reclaiming their:
