Ebed-Melech University is excited to announce the official launch of three new ministerial and chaplaincy training programs beginning September 1, 2025. These credentialing tracks are designed to equip emerging and experienced leaders for impactful service in churches, ministries, and community-based spiritual care settings.
Whether you’re just beginning your journey in ministry or seeking formal preparation for chaplaincy, these programs offer a flexible and accessible pathway to purpose-driven leadership:
Certificate in Ministerial Foundations
A foundational program designed to provide essential training in Christian doctrine, biblical interpretation, ethical leadership, and worship practices. Ideal for aspiring ministers, lay leaders, and those exploring their call to ministry.
Diploma in Ordained Ministry Leadership
This advanced undergraduate credential builds on ministerial foundations with intensive training in preaching, pastoral care, church operations, and leadership. Graduates will be prepared for ordination and active ministry within local and global contexts.
Graduate Diploma in Chaplaincy and Spiritual Care
Created for experienced ministers and bachelor’s degree holders, this graduate-level program equips students to serve in chaplaincy roles across hospitals, prisons, military, and community organizations. The curriculum includes spiritual support, cultural competence, ethics, and a supervised capstone practicum.
Each program is fully online, grounded in biblical principles, and designed to support learners at every stage of their spiritual journey. Graduates may also apply their completed coursework toward Ebed-Melech University’s Bachelor of Ministry (B.Min.) or Master of Ministry (M.Min.) degree programs.
