The Provost’s Bio
Kevin Kemp serves as Co-Founder, Provost, and Chief Operating Officer of Ebed-Melech University, where he leads the institution’s day-to-day operations, academic administration, and program development. In this role, he provides operational oversight of all academic divisions, ensuring that curriculum, faculty, and student experience are delivered with excellence, integrity, and alignment to the University’s faith-based mission and long-term strategic vision.
With a strong foundation in technology and higher education, Mr. Kemp has served as a professor and subject matter expert across multiple colleges and universities, contributing to both undergraduate and graduate-level instruction. He brings extensive experience in curriculum design, program development, and the creation of workforce-aligned academic pathways, particularly in cybersecurity, data science, and emerging technologies.
His work has supported the development of scalable, technology-driven programs that prepare students for real-world application in high-demand fields.
As a leader in academic operations and innovation, he has played a key role in building and managing online learning environments, supporting faculty performance, and implementing systems that strengthen academic quality and institutional effectiveness.
He continues to teach at the graduate level while overseeing curriculum standards, instructional delivery, and academic outcomes across the University.
Mr. Kemp holds a Master of Science in Cybersecurity from Capitol Technology University and a Bachelor of Applied Science in Computer and Information Sciences .
He is currently a Ph.D. Candidate in Data Science and Business Analytics at Capitol Technology University, having completed all doctoral coursework. He is expected to complete his dissertation and earn his doctorate between 2026 and 2027.
Mr. Kemp’s technical expertise includes cybersecurity, cloud computing, and Amazon Web Services (AWS), which he integrates into program design and institutional systems.
As Co-Founder, Mr. Kemp works in close alignment with the Office of the President to translate institutional vision into execution—ensuring that Ebed-Melech University operates with both strategic clarity and operational strength in a rapidly evolving digital education landscape.
