Ebed-Melech University is pleased to announce that Obi Njoku has joined our team as the new Director of Cloud Solutions and Infrastructure. Currently completing his Master’s degree at Lamar University (LU Cardinals), Obi brings a fresh perspective and a strong commitment to advancing our technology infrastructure.

An Emerging Leader in Technology and Security

Though early in his career, Obi has demonstrated remarkable dedication to mastering the complexities of cloud computing and security. He has already achieved certifications such as:

  • AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Associate: Highlighting his expertise in creating secure and scalable cloud environments.
  • Google Data Analytics Certification: Reflecting his ability to analyze and leverage data to support decision-making.

Building on this foundation, Obi is now applying his skills at EMU, playing a pivotal role in developing a comprehensive security plan and IT policies. His efforts focus on safeguarding our cloud-based learning systems and ensuring the highest level of reliability and security for students and staff.

Responsibilities and Vision

As Director of Cloud Solutions and Infrastructure, Obi is:

  • Leading the creation of a robust security framework to protect EMU’s digital assets and infrastructure.
  • Assisting in the development of cloud-based systems to improve efficiency and scalability.
  • Collaborating with leadership to align technology initiatives with EMU’s mission of fostering a modern, faith-based educational experience.
